Most local recycling facilities are not equipped to recycle film and bags. These items tend to get tangled in machinery which can damage the equipment making facilities shut down some times.

Although they are not bin recyclable, poly mailers can be brought to a specific store drop off location with your weekly grocery bags to be recycled the right way. Shipping labels and stickers must be removed beforehand. Please keep in mind mailers must be clean and dry.
